I did receive this video, I love the pictures, but the ocean sounds goes off and on throughout the entire dvd.

I'm not really a beach person, but thought I'd give this a try. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is a very relaxing video with natural ocean sounds, gently lapping waves along a shoreline to more vigorous wave action in a rocky inlet.
The scenes move seamlessly from one view to the next. My favorite is definitely the sunset shots. This would be a great DVD for a spa or salon.

I saw a similar DVD at my daughter's house, and since I love tropical beaches but can't get to them often, I decided this was the next best thing. I went through all the possibilities Amazon offered and selected this one. It's just what I expected and hoped for. Transporting and relaxing.

WISH I WAS THERE!,
If, like us, you like summer days and winter gets you down, this is the DVD for you. It is actually amazing how this disc can lift your spirit if you have a damp day outside. Aboslutely fantastic. Love the location, and as the previous reviewer says this is made of lovely long scenes so you really have the "feel" of the place. A sun break without need of a passport!

The Best Beach Ambiance DVD I've Found,
This is a DVD with very beautiful HD beach scenes in an exotic location. The scenes are accompanied by high quality sound consistent with the video, not looped every few seconds like what one finds on You Tube. The clouds actually move in this presentation. While I, at times, prefer one long scene to put on the flat screen as background, other times it's nice to have a change of scenery every so often. This DVD fits that bill perfectly. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful, relaxing tropical beach scenes. Good quality, high definition shots. I run it on a continuous loop at work and pretend my office window is a view of paradise. Great alternative to a dreary, northern hemisphere winter.

With this DVD you can forget everyday life for an hour and make a getaway on beautiful tropical beaches. Different Scenes of Beaches are shown and you can enjoy the ocean and the waves. I especially liked that there are scenes in which you think that you stand in the water and look at the beach. There, you can see the beautiful green palm trees and the bright blue sky. The sounds of the waves in the background make you feel as if you are really there. This is a very nice DVD to just relax and enjoy the ocean.

BEAUTIFUL SCENERY! CLOSE YOUR EYES AND BE THERE!
I am a big fan of the Ambient Collection DVDs. The photography is always beautiful and there is a wide variety of subjects to choose from. This DVD is a widescreen version in HD.
I am giving the DVD 5 stars because it has beautiful scenery plus natural sounds of the sea or you can choose Zen type music to another two selections which many viewers may like. I would not discourage anyone from buying this DVD if you love being at the beach and enjoying the sounds of the waves coming in and have patience enough to enjoy a beautiful sunrise or sunset. This is a DVD that starts out with the dawn and goes through the day ending with sunsets. Think slow pace in a fast paced world! The sun rises and sets S-L-O-W-L-Y. You need to get in a meditative mood to thoroughly enjoy the simplicity of style that this DVD presents.
I have my favorites from the Ambient Collection which always includes more piano music than not. For that reason, on my personal scale this DVD would get 3 stars because it only had piano music on one selection which was called Tropical Afterglow and it was beautiful both in scenery and music. I was very much in my happy place with this selection!
So, this is a 5 Star for those who like natural sounds or Zen type music and a slow paced DVD. It’s 3 stars if you are looking for piano music and want it to be included with most of the scenes. Since I couldn’t put a rating of 3-5 stars, I choose to put 5 to be fair to those who are looking for this type of DVD. There is not a flaw in it – just personal preferences.
If it is what you are looking for, buy it now and start building your collection of amazing DVDs! If this isn’t exactly what you are looking for, there are many more DVDs from the Ambient Collection to choose from and you will be able to build yourself a nice collection fit to what you like the best.
